Skiddaw House, Cumbria. 14 Sep 2005

I have passed Skiddaw House many times on my Cumbria walks but this is the first time I have ever seen anyone there.
I was invited in for a brew and a look round. The Friends of Skiddaw House have done a remarkable amount of work getting it habitable and hope to have it open to the public by Easter 2006. I wish them all the very best.
