Caught the 07:30 am ferry to Uig on
Skye. Once on Skye drove to Kilmuir to the cemetery where Flora
MacDonald is buried. Then back to Kilvaxter Iron Age farmstead to
have a look but there was too much water in the underground section
to get in. When I got to Spean Bridge I followed the Satnav
preference to turn left and go via Dalwhinnie and the A9. It seemed
to take ages to get home and must have been quite a bit longer than
the Fort William way.
