I had a quiet night in the graveyard
and was away my 06:30am. I only had a few miles to ride south to
reach the ferry at Achnacroish. The pier was deserted and the place
is only a few isolated buildings. The waiting room is also the
Lismore Historical Society building though there weren’t any
displays inside. I enjoyed my wait for the ferry which arrived at
07:40am. Before people started arriving I was able to watch the
various seabirds. The crossing back to Oban was uneventful and
enjoyable. Back in Oban I cycled back to my car, stripped the bags
and bike, loaded up and had an easy drive home. I was just able to
get to Moffat before 12:30pm and buy a steak pie for tea.
